Heavy Equipment trainer Rick started his passion with heavy equipment when he landed a job at Suncor in Fort McMurray in 1979. Rick worked there for over 30 years when he ventured off to work in Mauritania Africa. From there he finished off his career working in the North West Territories at Diavik with Tlicho.

Rick had love for food and his favourite thing to do was to find all the hidden gems around Edmonton.
Interesting facts about Richard
Rick loved life and he was always trying to make people laugh and telling Sh&t stories as Rina would say. He was always joking around making the best of life. Rick had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back even if he didn’t know you. Rick loved travelling and seeing the world and never afraid to try new things. He had a special love for Rina even when he was dying he was still hitting on her asking her for her phone number. He will forever be loved and missed.
Obituario
Rick passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on January 8 2025. Rick unfortunately lost his quick battle with Cancer. Rick will always be remembered for his witty charm and warm heart. He loved his sports cars and his Harley. He will forever be riding free now
