Richard Carroll, lovingly known as "Dick," passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on September 20, 1939, in Sharon Hill, PA, and most recently resided in North Wildwood, NJ.

Dick was a man of many passions and hobbies. He found great joy in playing golf, watching sports, and spending quality time with his family. Known for his hard work ethic, he was the proud owner/operator of C&C Janitorial Services. Richard's dedication and commitment to his career will always be remembered.

Outside of work, Richard was a great storyteller and enjoyed indulging in a good cigar. He loved traveling and had a special place in his heart for Cabo San Lucas and St. Thomas. Richard also had a deep affection for Philadelphia sports, particularly college basketball teams like Villanova and Penn State.

Above all else, Richard cherished his beautiful wife, Gertrude. Their love and companionship were a testament to their lifelong commitment to each other. Richard was a beloved father to his son Richard "Rick" Carroll Jr. and daughter Kathleen "Kathy" Paulsen. He was also a cherished grandfather to Eric Youschak and Kaci Youschak.

Richard's vibrant personality and outgoing nature made him a joy to be around. He was talkative and had a remarkable ability to captivate an audience with his stories. Richard's love for golf was evident through his impressive five hole-in-one achievements, which will forever be remembered.

In addition to his personal pursuits, Richard was involved in the community as the head of the Carroll-Myers Open. He believed in giving back and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Eagles Autism Foundation in Richard's memory.

Richard Carroll will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His vibrant spirit and zest for life will continue to inspire those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
