Richard Allen Powers Sr. of McKees Rocks, PA, passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 58. Born on April 4, 1966, in Allegheny County, PA, Richard was an amazing human with a big heart. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his three children, Amanda Powers-Poole, Richard Powers Jr., and Marlaina Powers, and his seven cherished grandchildren, Mariah Logan, Shawn Logan Jr., Richard Logan, Brooklyn Powers, Brice Powers, Braven Powers, and Melody Snyder.

Richard had a passion for swimming and playing with his grandkids. He enjoyed indulging in his favorite foods, such as spaghetti, goulash, ice cream, and milkshakes. He had a great love for classic rock music and enjoyed listening to his favorite bands and musical artists. Richard's favorite place in the world was the beach, where he found peace and tranquility.

In his free time, Richard enjoyed watching the TV show Trailer Park Boys and was known by his friends and family as Rich. He worked as a flagger and cook throughout his career. Richard's proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren, and he treasured every moment he spent with them.

Richard will be deeply missed by his loving spouse, Theresa Blatz. He is also survived by his mother, Sylvia Stetz, and his sister, Becky Powers. Known for his loving, caring, and funny personality, Richard was a hard worker who touched the lives of many. His presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Richard Allen Powers Sr. to celebrate his life and the lasting impact he had on those around him.
