Known affectionately as "Pokey" or "Hector," Reynaldo was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished spending time with his eight children: Letticia, Reynaldo Jr., Reyes, Rene, Rudy, Alex, Lilan, and Savanna.

Reynaldo had a passion for helping others and found joy in working on lowriders, a hobby that reflected his love for cars and craftsmanship. He had an infectious laugh and a joyful spirit, which endeared him to family and friends alike. He often reminisced about sharing delicious Mexican food with loved ones and was a fan of Curtis Mayfield, particularly the song "Diamond in the Back."
