Reginald (Roy) Donald Mitchell, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024, at the age of 92. He was born on July 12, 1931, in Harefield, UK, and most recently resided in Staines, UK.

Reginald, also known as Roy, had a zest for life that was evident in his favorite hobbies. He was a loyal supporter of Hampton FC and enjoyed playing golf whenever he had the chance. One of his unique passions was giving directions, always eager to help others find their way. He took great pride in his English heritage and loved indulging in traditional English food, with fish and chips being his absolute favorite.

Hard-working and determined, Reginald never stopped pursuing his interests. He cherished his cousin Roy in Nebraska and maintained a strong bond throughout their lives. He found great joy in giving directions to people, ensuring they arrived safely at their destinations. Additionally, he loved sharing stories about the war, offering insight and perspective.

Tongue in Scotland held a special place in Reginald's heart, as it was his favorite place in the world. He admired the scenic beauty and peacefulness of the area.

Professionally, Reginald had a diverse career. He was born into a fish and chip shop in Harefield and later sold the business in 1977. Afterward, he worked as a sales representative for various sports companies until his retirement in 1991. Following his retirement, he became a driver for the PGA, enjoying the opportunity to combine his love of sports and travel.

Reginald was married to his beloved wife Patricia and together they raised three children, Andrew, Douglas, and Iain. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished the time spent with Patricia, Andrew, and Iain.
