On October 14, 2023 our husband, father, brother, and friend, Brother Reginald Leon Nixon . answered the Master's call peacefully at his residence in Newport News, Virginia surrounded by family and friends.
Reginald was born December 17, 1956 in Danville, Virginia, Son to the late Richard I. Nixon , Sr. and Agnes Hairston Richardson.
He enlisted in the United States Army where he served honorably for 2 years. Reginald was a member of Shalom Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Harriet Nixon ; son Rodney Nixon ; three daughters, Tere Richardson, Theresa Edwards and Ebony Johnson; brother, Freddy Nixon ; three sisters, Virginia Thompson, Vanessa Royal and Wanda Williams; seventeen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
