Celebrating the Life of Regina A. Perkins
Regina A. Perkins was born on December 12, 1953, in The Bronx, New York. On January 2, 2025, God, in His infinite wisdom, called His beloved servant home after a season of medical complications. Regina entered eternal rest at the age of 71, leaving behind a powerful legacy of faith, love, and family devotion.
Regina spent her early years in The Bronx, where she developed the strength, resilience, and warmth that would define her life. After marriage, she relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she continued to build a life rooted in faith, perseverance, and unconditional love for her family. Wherever Regina lived, she made it a home filled with care, laughter, and togetherness.
A devoted wife daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and treasured family matriarch, Regina wore many hats and wore them all with grace. She lived a long and meaningful life, finding joy in traveling and experiencing new places, but nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by her family. Family was her ministry, and love was her calling.
Regina was a woman of faith who trusted God throughout every season of her life. Her strength was anchored in the promises of the Lord, and her life reflected His love. Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”(Psalm 23:1), and Regina walked confidently knowing she was guided and protected by Him. We take comfort in God’s Word which says, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4), and “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8).
Regina’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving family: Demond Perkins, June Perkins, Sandy Walker, Gean Walker, Deborah Jones, Malicah Jones, Iesha Jones, Alexus Headrick, Irvin Lewis, Shaderrica Lewis, Rodney Lewis, along with many other beloved family members and friends who will miss her dearly and hold close the countless memories they shared with her.
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that Regina has received her heavenly reward. As promised in Revelation 21:4, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.” Regina now rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love remains eternal.
We'll plant real trees for you in Regina's memory and display your contribution forever.
