Raymond William Hall, also known as Khakes, passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 52. He was born on January 29, 1972, in Baltimore, MD, and most recently resided in Salisbury, MD. Raymond had a passion for drag and was known for his vibrant and captivating performances. Madonna was among his favorite musical artists, and he would often showcase his love for music through his performances.
Raymond had a zest for life and found great joy in the company of his loved ones. He cherished his bond with his husband, Eric Gregory, and their beloved dachshund, Oliver. Together, they created a home filled with love and laughter. Raymond found inspiration in the TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race, which fueled his creativity and passion for his art.
In addition to his immediate family, Raymond is survived by his sister Kerry Cleaver and niece Kathryn Cleaver. His infectious laughter, tattoos, beard, and piercings were defining aspects of his personality, making him unforgettable to all who knew him. Raymond had a unique ability to bring joy to those around him, leaving an indelible imprint on the lives he touched.
