Loved collecting sports memorabilia and going to see my grandson,Sayyid’s basketball games and run track.
Loved soul food like Macoroni and Cheese, Candied Yams, Collard Greens, Potato Salad, Honey Ham and Turkey. For dessert he loved Stella’s Lemon pound cake, Carrot Cake, Apple Pie and Sweet Potato Pie don’t forget the Butter Pecan Ice Cream.
Gospel music, R&B, Michael Jackson and Motown
Loved to laugh and make jokes all day. That’s no wonder because Raymond use to do stand up comedy and he was good at it!

Loved going places and traveling with family. Has been to Disney World, Six Flags. Loved cruising going to ports in Jamaica, Cozumel, Mexico, and the Bahamas

Raymond Peay, beloved husband, father, grandfather,brother,cousin,uncle friend & son passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 60. He was born on August 28, 1963, in the Bronx, NY, and most recently resided in Monroe, GA.
Raymond had many passions in life, including collecting sports memorabilia and attending his grandson Sayyid's basketball games and track meets. He had a fondness for soul food, with Macaroni and Cheese, Candied Yams, Collard Greens, Potato Salad, Honey Ham, and Turkey being some of his favorite dishes. He had a sweet tooth and enjoyed treats such as Stella's Lemon Pound Cake, Carrot Cake, Apple Pie, and Sweet Potato Pie, always topped with Butter Pecan Ice Cream.
In terms of music, Raymond loved Gospel, R&B, and artists like Michael Jackson and Motown. He had a natural talent for making people laugh and was known for his comedic skills, having previously pursued stand-up comedy. he performed live at comedy club, such as chuckles in New York and the world famous Apollo theater.
Family meant everything to Raymond, and he cherished spending time with them. He enjoyed traveling to various destinations and had visited Disney World, Six Flags, and had especially loved cruising to ports in Jamaica, Cozumel, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
When it came to entertainment, Raymond found joy in watching shows like Sanford and Son and the Steve Harvey Show. Additionally, he was an ardent sports fan, supporting the Denver Nuggets in basketball, the New York Yankees in baseball, and the Philadelphia Eagles in football.
Raymond's life motto was "Live, Love, and Laugh," a testament to his positive outlook and joyful spirit. He was married to Stella Marie Atkinson on December 23, 1985, and their love and partnership brought them immeasurable happiness.
Raymond Peay will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of laughter, love, and a zest for life will forever be etched in their hearts.
