Ray Berryman was born April 3rd, 1952 to the parents of Clara and Joe Berryman in Rock Island, Illinois. Ray was a high school graduate from Rock Island High School where he thereafter enlisted in the Navy. At the age of 25 he was settled in San Diego where he retired from the Navy in January 2022.

Ray went to be with the Lord on July 18th,2025 at home peacefully with friends and family.

Ray loved cooking with his Nana, traveling, spending time with family and friends, he loved swimming, and most of all spending time with his dog Bud.

Those to cherish his life is his siblings James and Denise Berryman of Davenport, Iowa Craig and Sherry Berryman of Minneapolis, Minnesota God sisters Evelyn Clark and Jeda Hill of San Diego California a special friend Lois Hall of San Diego California his Godmother Delores Johnson of San Diego a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ray is proceeded in death his parents Joe and Clara Berryman and brother Fred Berryman.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
