Randy Phillips, born on May 6, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Liberty, Missouri. He was a dedicated engineer who devoted his professional life to his craft, but his true pride and joy came from his family.

Married to his beloved wife Pat for 53 years, Randy was a loving father to Chad, who is married to Christie, and they have two children, Madeline and Jack; Kerri, married to Garrett, with three children: Kate, Charlie, and Will; and Laura, who has one son, Tobias. Known affectionately as Papa and Dad, he embraced his role as a grandfather with joy and enthusiasm, often sharing his love for life and family with his grandchildren.

Randy had a passion for volunteering and could often be found cheering on children at local sports events or enjoying peaceful moments at the lake. His kind, supportive, and encouraging nature made him a cherished friend and confidant to many. Randy's positive attitude and willingness to offer the best advice left a lasting impact on the lives of those around him.

A dedicated member of Liberty Christian Church, Randy's faith guided his life and actions. He is survived by his loving family, including his two dogs, Ellie and Reece, who brought him much happiness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
