Randall Ernest Trudelle, affectionately known as Randy, passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on November 26, 1944, in Acushnet, Massachusetts, he spent his later years residing in Sarasota, Florida.
Randy dedicated his life to architecture and humanitarian work, beginning with his involvement in the Peace Corps in 1968. During his time as an Architect and Professor of Architecture, he made a significant impact in Afghanistan, Peru, and Bolivia, designing prototype schools and low-cost housing that improved the lives of many. In Nicaragua, he played a crucial role in establishing a 20-bed hospital, while in Haiti, he engineered a prototype grain silo.
Randy is survived by his beloved niece and nephew, who will remember him for his unwavering commitment to social justice and community development. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the projects he brought to fruition around the world.
We'll plant real trees for you in Randall's memory and display your contribution forever.
