Ralph was an avid weight lifter and boxer, he loved working out at the gym up until he became ill.
He loved soul food and cajun food he was looking forward to a dinner at Harold & Belle’s Resturant.
He loved his jazz music and was a great dancer, he enjoyed looking at the Chicago stepping videos.
Ralph graduated from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles and went on to further his education and train at Los Angeles Trade Technical College where he studied automobile, diesel and welding mechanics. Ralph was a choir member and loved singing with the men’s choir at Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, he gave his life to christ at an early age following in his mother’s Christian background.
Ralph loved nothing more than to have a long lengthy conversation with anyone (he was a talker with just a little stutter). He was to first to comment on everyone’s facebook post but you couldn’t understand exactly what he meant but you knew it was sent with love and admiration.
Ralph loved any sport especially the Olympics.
Early the bright warm Saturday morning of July 27, 2024 the angels in heaven called upon our dear father and friend Ralph h. Smith to join them.
Ralph Howard Smith was born August 8, 1944 to the loving parents of Louise M and George Herman Smith, he had one older brother George Herman Smith III, who we called his twin since they were less than a year apart in age, his parents and brother all proceeded him in death.
Ralph leaves to mourn his daughter Tiffany C. Smith and son Von Smith, three grandsons, one grand daughter, his ex-wife Ruby, great grandkids and several cousins, family and friends.
