Rafael Alberto Valerio, lovingly known as Ralph, passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 36. His presence brought joy to those around him, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Born in Paterson, New Jersey, and raised in Clifton, Ralph had a deep appreciation for nostalgia and found joy in anime, video games, and collecting Pokémon cards. He was a big kid at heart, bringing laughter and happiness to those around him. In 2005, he moved to Florida and later graduated from Felix Varela High School in Miami.

Ralph worked as a sales associate at BJ’s in South and Central Florida, where he formed lasting friendships with his coworkers. He also worked at Staples and took great pride in earning his own way. His infectious humor and kindhearted nature made him a beloved presence wherever he went.

He is deeply missed by his parents, Rafael and Bertha Valerio of Winter Haven, Florida; his sister, Alexandra Mateo, and her husband, Will, also of Winter Haven; and his cherished nephew, Gabriel, who considered "Tío Ralph" his best friend. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who are heartbroken by his passing.

Ralph’s lighthearted spirit and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
