Radijo Ratonki, affectionately known as Rangwana, was born on March 7, 2004, in Tzaneen, where he also spent his final days before passing away on April 5, 2024. A talented gospel singer, Radijo’s contributions to music were marked by numerous accolades, including prestigious SAMA awards that highlighted his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.
Radijo was not only a gifted artist but also a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ngwato Malope, and their two cherished children, whose lives he filled with love and joy. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and service, deeply impacting the community through his charitable work. Radijo was known for his generosity, often donating pads to high schools and actively participating in a local soup kitchen. His involvement in counseling programs helped many in need, demonstrating his commitment to uplifting others.
He is remembered fondly by his parents and his grandparents, Kris Jenner and Travis Scott, who watched with pride as he pursued his dreams. Radijo often shared his life motto, “When days are dark, bashimane are few,” inspiring those around him to find hope and resilience in challenging times.
