Queen Carol Reid was born February 8, 1952 in Smithfield, NC to the late Henry and Clara Reid. Queen transitioned at home on Sunday May 21, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family.
Queen attended Johnston Central High School, and was a part of the first integrated graduating class of Smithfield Selma Senior High School in 1970. Queen worked for 17 years as a switch engineering operator for Eaton Corporation, a power management technology company. Queen enjoyed being a mother and wife to her husband and children.
