Prentiss Ross was born to the late Lieutenant Ross Sr. and late Naomi Pruitt Ross on March 18, 1957. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Prentiss received Christ at an early age. He attended Vicksburg School District. He drove trucks for several years (Breaker Breaker 1-9 OTIS P also known as the "FOTPUCKER") and he also operated heavy machinery.
He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 42yrs Doretha Ross, his two sons Derrick (Neshia) Jordan and Shannon Jordan, eight sisters Joni (Roy) Dixon, Lena (Lenellel) Ballard, Beatrice Ross, Bonnie Ross, Betty Ann (Calvin) Huck, Betty Jean, Sara Ross, and Kathleen (Richard) Coleman. Four brothers Lieutenant Ross Jr., Larry Charles Ross, Larry Donell (Annie) Ross, and Tony Ross. 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Prentiss was proceeded in death by his father the late Lieutenant Ross Sr., his mother the late Naomi Pruitt Ross, two brothers Eugene Palmer and Willie Ross and one loving niece Larrielle Ross.
