Pinkie Pates, lovingly known as Pink or Pinkie, passed away on March 9, 2024, in Collinston, LA, at the age of 69. She was born on November 25, 1954, in Collinston, where she spent her entire life.
Pinkie was a devoted family person and cherished nothing more than being with her loved ones. She was a kind-hearted and generous woman, always willing to give the clothes off her back to those in need. Her strength of mind and unwavering determination were an inspiration to all who knew her.
In her free time, Pinkie would often be found watching her favorite TV shows, particularly Westerns. She had a deep appreciation for the simplicity and charm of those shows.
Pinkie leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all her family, including the Tappins and Pates grandbabies.
A devout Baptist, Pinkie held strong religious beliefs that guided her throughout her life.
