Philip was widowed, wife Phyllis, has two sons, Christopher and Michael and daughter in law Stephanie. Grandchildren Gianna, Christopher, Vincent, Michael and Adrianna. He also had extended grandchildren Salvatore and Dominick.
His family, spending time with his grandchildren, sitting in the sun, and discussing politics.
Spending Sunday dinners with his sister Camille and brother in law Nino. Surrounded by nieces, nephews, and cousins laughing the night away.

All of his sports were his favorite. Loves betting in the horses and filling out football sheets every Sunday.
Philip Balzano, born on January 15, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on September 22, 2024, in Staten Island. He was a devoted family man, a veteran of the Army, who proudly served the United States military, was a radio communication specialist working along side the most decorated Generals during the Vietnam War and a dedicated employee of Verizon for 40+ years.
Philip was widowed, having lost his beloved wife, Phyllis. He is survived by his two sons, Christopher and Michael, daughter-in-law Stephanie, and five cherished grandchildren, Gianna, Christopher, Vincent, Michael, and Adrianna, along with extended grandchildren Salvatore and Dominick. His sister, Camille Demetrio, also remains.
He was known for his simple pleasures, enjoying washing his car, scratching lotto tickets, and shopping at Costco. Philip had a fondness for good food, often indulging in eggplant parmesan, macaroni dishes, and various soups. His love for music was evident in his appreciation for Tito Puente and talk radio.
Philip treasured spending Sunday dinners with his sister and brother-in-law, Nino, surrounded by family and friends sharing laughter and stories. He also delighted in watching mob documentaries and engaging with friends and family in discussions about politics.
