Phanpy De La Cruz, also known affectionately as Toothless, Phupa, Phamps, and little brother, passed away on May 19, 2009, at the age of 14 in Bay City, Michigan. Born on May 19, 2008, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Phanpy brought endless joy and energy to those around him.

Phanpy was a ball of energy from the day he was welcomed into the De La Cruz family until his last breath. Always on the go and with an insatiable appetite, he would eat anything he laid his eyes on. His love for food was matched only by his love for car rides and walks, where he would eagerly explore the world around him.

Phanpy is survived by his mother, Benita De La Cruz, his brother, Patrick De La Cruz, his sister, Komala De La Cruz, and his niece, Mimikyu De La Cruz. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mama Evee, and his brother, Houndoom. Phanpy's infectious energy and playful spirit will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones.

In honor of Phanpy's memory, the family kindly requests that any contributions be made to the local SPCA or an animal shelter in Phanpy's name. These donations will help provide care and support to animals in need, a cause that was close to Phanpy's heart.

There will be no memorial service planned for Phanpy. Instead, his family will cherish the memories they shared with him, remembering his lively presence and the joy he brought into their lives.

Phanpy's departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May his spirit continue to bring happiness and laughter, reminding us to embrace each day with boundless energy and a zest for life.
