Peter Samuel Hrobuchak, 86, of Newton Township, died Thursday morning at home. His beloved wife the former Dorothy A. Haschak died April 30, 1990. They were married for 40 years. Born in Old Forge on June 24, 1924, he was the son of the late Samuel and Anna Solanick Hrobuchak. Peter was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Taylor. For many years, he was a local dairy and agriculture farmer, owned Hrobuchak's Lawn and Garden Equipment Sales and operated an Inspection Station in Newton Township. Peter was a devoted loving husband, father and grandfather and friend to many. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the devoted nurses at Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassionate care, understanding and support they extended to them the past month. Surviving is a daughter Eileen Rich and husband, Stephen, who were his caregivers, Clarks Summit; three sons, Robert P., Clarks Summit; David R. and wife, Gail, Harrisburg; Richard and wife, Laurie, Tennessee, grandchildren, Krista Seitzinger, Kara Sammon, Ashleigh Rich, Jonathan Rich, Hannah Hrobuchak, Ingrid Hrobuchak, Phillip Hrobuchak and Melinda Hrobuchak, two great grandchildren; a brother, Stephen, Albuquerque, NM; Nieces and Nephews. Two infant great grandchildren, seven brothers, John, Michael, William, Andrew, Joseph, George and Elmer Hrobuchak and three sisters; Anna Argonish, Jule Ivanik and Mary Juse preceded him in death. The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor followed by the Office of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Oak St., Taylor by the Rev. Gary Mensinger, pastor. Interment will be in Milwaukee Cemetery. Family and Friends may call Sunday 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Semian's. Parastas services Sunday at 1:30 p.m. by Father Mensinger.
