Dad didn't really have a hobby, I know he loved to socialize with people and make them laugh.
If you asked him he would always say having me and my brother was his greatest accomplishment but I know he achieved so much in life and he didn't even know it.
Dads mum and dad were called Doris and Edward Miller, dad sadly lost his father at an early age, later on Doris remarried Peter Rotherham who brought up my father and who I knew as my grandfather.
Dad has three grandchildren Kaspar, Björn, and Dolly
To make people laugh, he had a great sense of humor,he enjoyed putting a smile on your face.
Dad had two children a daughter Ashleigh (me) and a son Elliott
Dad was a big star trek fan and enjoyed watching scifi movies
He travelled alot when he was in the army and I know he was stationed in Germany for a while. He also spent sometime working in Saudi Arabia. Dad liked to expand his horizons exploring different ways of life.
If I could write a story,
It would be the greatest ever told
Of a kind and loving father
Who had a heart of gold.
I could write a million pages
But still be unable to say just how
Much I love and miss him
Every single day.
I will remember all he taught me.
I’m hurt but won’t be sad,
Because he’ll send me down the answers,
And he’ll always be my dad.
Dad will be cremated at Charlton park crematorium on Monday 19th August 2024. Unable to give a time.
