Peggy's favorite hobbies

Peggy was an excellent artist and loved to work with many mediums. Her artistry ranged from painting and drawing, to stuffed toys and doll clothing, to collages, quirky shadow boxes, to jewelry making and everything in between. There wasn't an art craft Peggy couldn't master.

Peggy's favorite foods

While Peggy had quite an extensive palate, Mexican food was always a favorite of hers. Notably her own chicken enchiladas, rice and her MUCH raved and requested salsa. Her enchiladas were so beloved, they replaced her kid's birthday cake!

Favorite bands and musical artists

She had an eclectic musical soul but was fond of the era of James Taylor, and other artists of that time and genre. However, she still was a huge fan of contemporary alternative artists.

Interesting facts about Peggy

Peggy was the second oldest, and oldest girl, of eight children. While Peggy was fairly quiet and reserved, those closest to her got to enjoy her ornery, sometimes dry but often sarcastic sense of humor. One of Peggy's favorite art styles was quirky and somewhat macabre. One could compare to a Tim Burton essence.

Peggy loved nothing more than

Peggy loved spending time with her grandchildren and working on crafts made just for them, and her adult children. She also loved her cats. She always adored cats. Especially her beloved white Siamese, Panda, who she always kept close to her heart.

Favorite place in the world

A fond memory of hers was the time she spent living in Southern California, after graduating high school, in the early 1970's.

Favorite TV shows

One of Peggy's favorite TV shows, as well as film, was Downton Abbey. She loved British TV series and they were a regular in her household. She was also fond of anything Jane Austin and Bronte sister film and TV adaptations. Pride and Prejudice was a beloved and much watched story of hers.

Obituary

Peggy Ann Libby leaves behind one daughter, Breeana Libby, as well as a son, Jacob Libby, and two granddaughters, Sophie and Ava and two grandsons, Silas (the second son due in winter).

Peggy was loved by all, as she had one of the kindest hearts you could be blessed to meet. Her home was a safe haven, as she never turned away her children's friends who needed a place to stay. Her home was always a welcome spot for a warm, welcoming home cooked meal.

Peggy was an avid cook, reader, artist, animal lover and film afficionado. She loved period pieces and learning about history and the otherworldly, particularly aliens.

Peggy was beloved by all who knew her and she will always be missed and cherished. Her stories and legacy will continue on, and her memory kept alive for the world and her grandchildren.
