Pedro Alejandro Calero, affectionately known as "Dro," was born on February 22, 1970, in Sacramento, California. He passed away early morning, September 13, 2024, in Waterbury, Connecticut, due to a fatal drug overdose. It was labeled as a suicide. His life ended leaving behind a legacy marked by bravery, humor, and a competitive spirit.
Dro was engaged to his loving fiancée, Lupita Gomez, who will forever cherish their time together. He was a dedicated father to his children: Jordan Calero, Zakariah Calero, and twins Christopher and Christiana Calero, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
He is survived by his father, Terrence Calero, and his siblings, Roberto Fernandez, Vincent Calero, and Julie McGriff. Pedro's presence was a source of strength for many; he was always there when needed, exhibiting a fierce loyalty that endeared him to family and friends alike.
Despite his challenges, Pedro's wit and determination shone brightly, leaving a lasting impact on the lives he touched. His memory will continue to inspire those who loved him, as they remember his unique ability to face life's trials with courage and humor.
