Obituary

Paul K Land, known affectionately as "The Legend" or "Dude," passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born on January 14, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, and most recently resided in Harleysville, PA.

Paul was a beloved chiropractor with a long-standing practice in Lower Gwynedd, where he touched the lives of many through his healing touch and compassionate care. In addition to his chiropractic work, he also served as a respected professor at Lehigh Carbon Community College, sharing his knowledge and passion with his students since 2015.

Outside of his professional life, Paul found immense joy in spending time with his wife and children. Traveling, hiking, and camping were among their favorite activities. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he cheered on his favorite sports team with unwavering enthusiasm.

Paul had an extraordinary ability to spread cheer and mischief wherever he went. He possessed a larger-than-life personality, and his infectious humor brought smiles to the faces of everyone he encountered. His patients and students cherished the ease with which he connected with them, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

Paul will be dearly missed by his wife, Jean Ellis-Land, his children (both of whom share a birthday with their dad) Shaelyn Land and Paul Jackson Land, and his sibling, Theresa Land. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Arp, and father, Paul A. Land.

In remembering Paul K Land, may we honor his legacy by spreading kindness, laughter, and joy to all those around us.

A memorial scholarship is being set up for students attending Lehigh Carbon Community College who are in either the radiologic technology or nursing program. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the scholarship to keep Paul's legacy alive. Details will be shared once the scholarship has been established.
