A Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, Patrick earned numerous accolades for his service, including the Vietnamese Service Award, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Purple Heart, and National Defense Service Medal. After his military service, he pursued a career as a master plumber and electrician, showcasing his exceptional skills and work ethic.
Patrick attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where he earned a bachelor's degree in history. Throughout his life, he found immense fulfillment in the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous, celebrating over 40 years of sobriety.
In addition to his professional and personal achievements, Patrick was a loving pet owner, finding companionship in his beloved Dachshund, RayRay.
