Patricia Leona McOuat
(February 23, 1940 - June 26, 2024)

Patricia Leona McOuat, affectionately known as Pat, passed away on June 26, 2024, in Winnipeg, MB, Canada, at the age of 84. She was born on February 23, 1940, in Winnipeg, where she lived most of her life.

Patricia had a zest for life and a love for the outdoors. She enjoyed going to the beach, golfing, x-country skiing, canoeing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She had a passion for reading and could often be found engrossed in a good book. Pat loved socializing and was known for her love of parties.

In May 1961, Patricia graduated from nursing school and embarked on a fulfilling career. She worked as a nurse in a psychiatric hospital, where her love, respect, and care for her patients shone through. Patricia's proudest accomplishment was providing compassionate care to people with respect and love.

Family was of utmost importance to Patricia. She leaves behind her children, Glen, and Kathleen (Kevin), who will forever cherish the memories shared with their beloved mother. Patricia was also a loving grandmother to Cole and Quinn(Rain) and a great-grandmother to Fern.

Patricia had a beautiful soul and possessed a loving and caring nature. She was known for her class and grace, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She was a member of Windsor Park United Church and brought her children to Sunday School there, kids went to youth group, volunteered at the moms and tots program, and attended many Sunday sermons. She loved the Easter Sunday breakfasts at the church and would dress everyone in their very best clothes.

Patricia Leona McOuat will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched throughout her lifetime. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and cared for.

Rest in peace, dear Pat. You will forever be remembered and cherished.
