Patricia Eunice Croson, affectionately known as Pat, was born on November 14, 1949, in Washington D.C. She passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Pat was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Oretta Croson and was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Croson and sister Natalie Kline.
A dedicated cost accountant for White House Applesauce and Burroughs & Chapin, Pat was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to her profession. Outside of work, she found joy in arts and crafts, often expressing her creativity through painting and drawing. A lover of Mexican cuisine and country music, she enjoyed sharing meals and moments filled with laughter and music with those she cherished.
Pat was a remarkable individual who embodied kindness and compassion. She had a special bond with her nephews, whom she loved as if they were her own sons. Her open and honest nature resonated with everyone she met, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand. A true giver at heart, she dedicated her time and resources to support children through orphanages, church, and community missions.
Pat's love for the beach was only matched by her affection for her puppy, Ryder, who brought her much joy. She is survived by her three sisters, Karen Croson, Kathy Morris, and Deb Paskel, her nephews and wives and brother in-laws.
The family is planning a private celebration of life to honor her memory. Pat’s legacy of caring for others and her motto, "I’m gonna tell you like it is," will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.
We'll plant real trees for you in Patricia's memory and display your contribution forever.
