It is with our heaviest hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Pamela Sigmon on December 13, 2024.
Pam was born on December 8, 1960, in Salmon, Idaho, to Marjorie and Harold Morris. She was the second of five children. She spent her childhood with her siblings, growing up in various parts of Idaho. She attended, and graduated from, Jerome High School in 1979. Soon after, in 1980, she married her one and only, Gary. After traveling, and living in various parts of the United States, Pam and Gary made there home in Clinton, Utah. They welcomed there one and only child, Ashley, in June of 1990. Ashley soon became the center of Pam`s universe, spending every waking moment taking care of her. Pam was a stay at home mother until 1997, when Ashley entered grade school. She then started her career as a Cook for the Davis School District. She served in Nutrition Services for 27 years, finally retiring from Northridge High School in 2024.
Pam became a grandmother for the first time in July of 2008, with the birth of Kylie. Kylie and Pam created a bond that was unlike most. Pam became a second mother to Kylie, and was there to mold Kylie into who she is today. She became a grandmother for the second time in July of 2015, with the birth of Allie. Pam always made sure that Allie had fun in all she did, and was always taking her places she knew would spark Allie`s imagination. Kylie and Allie were the light of Pam`s universe and her unconditional love for them will never be forgotten.
Pamela loved decorating her home and creating beautiful spaces for her family to enjoy. She cherished the moments spent attending concerts with Ashley, relishing the music of her favorite bands, including Journey, REO Speedwagon, 3 Doors Down, Merle Haggard, and too many more to list. Family vacations were also an important part of her life, where she made lasting memories with her loved ones. Her most recent vacation was a trip to Disneyland where she was able to watch Allie dance in the Dance the Magic parade, while being in the happiest place on earth.
Her warm spirit and fun-loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Pam leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joyful memories that will be cherished forever. Pam was a selfless person in all she did, always thinking of everyone else, and thinking of herself last. She was a devout Christian, and put Jesus at the center of everything she did. Even when the world gave her unimaginable trials, she always lifted her eyes above, and knew God had a plan for her.
Known affectionately as "Spam" and "Buzz," Pam was a compassionate and charismatic individual who touched the lives of those around her with her loyalty and spontaneity. She had a passion for being larger than life and found fulfillment in her role as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the medical team at St. Luke`s Hospital in Boise, Idaho. Your unwavering care, guidance, and education throughout the process will forever be appreciated. We would like to give a special shout out to nurses Brandi, Elaine, Hayley, and Kelli for going above and beyond to care for Pam and the family during our stay.
Pam`s wishes were granted and her body was successfully donated to the Neurobiology Department at the University of Utah, to help with the continuation of research and education. Even in death, Pam was thinking of ways she was able to help others, and we find comfort in knowing she was able to have her wish granted.
