Pak Ho left this world on February 19, 2026, at the age of 75, in Oakland, California, the city where his remarkable journey began. His departure was a tragic result of crime, a loss felt deeply by all who knew him.
Pak Ho Yang was born on February 6, 1951, in Oakland, California. From an early age, he embodied the spirit of his hometown, carrying with him a sense of resilience and determination that would define his life. In 1971, Pak Ho answered the call to serve his country, joining the military with pride and dedication. His service was marked by courage and commitment, qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
In 1982, Pak Ho married the love of his life, Marina Yang. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless shared memories. For 44 years, their marriage stood as a testament to enduring partnership and devotion. Though Pak Ho is now reunited with his predeceased family member, Marina, in spirit, his legacy continues to thrive in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Pak Ho was the proud father of two children, Talia Yang and Andrew Yang, who were the light of his life. His role as a father was one he embraced wholeheartedly, instilling in his children the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. His legacy extends further through his five beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to his later years.
A man of strong will and a firm believer in the dignity of hard labor, Pak Ho was admired for his steadfast principles and unyielding work ethic.
