Otis Lee Workman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 69. He was born on February 8, 1955, in Charlotte, NC, and most recently resided in Canton, OH.

Otis had a zest for life and enjoyed spending his time engaging in his favorite hobbies, which included fishing, camping, and most importantly, being with his grandchildren. He loved nothing more than watching them grow and creating precious memories together. Otis also had a deep affection for his hometown, Charlotte, NC, which he considered his favorite place in the world.

Sports played a significant role in Otis's life, particularly football and basketball. His passion for these sports was evident to all who knew him. He was also happily married to his wife Marleen, and together they shared a beautiful life. Otis was a proud father of Kierra & Rachel and proud grandfather of Champail, Jaida, Ally, and Arnold, who brought immense joy and love into his life.

Otis's charismatic and supportive nature touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He had a remarkable ability to turn strangers into lifelong friends within minutes. Through his kindness and warmth, Otis impacted the lives of others in profound ways, leaving lasting memories and a legacy of love.

In the community, Otis was known as "Coach O," where he served in leadership roles, offering guidance, support, and mentorship to those around him. His contributions to the community will always be remembered and appreciated.

Otis will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and all those whose lives he touched. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
