Age: 70
Oscar C. Jacobs was born on January 8, 1956, to Erma Jean Jacobs and Oscar C. Jacobs Sr. He passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2026, after suffering a heart attack.
Oscar was a devoted father, loving family man, and hardworking provider. He was known for his generous spirit and kind heart, always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly and consistently put others before himself, especially his family.
To his children, Oscar was more than a father — he was a protector, mentor, and best friend. His wisdom, strength, laughter, and unconditional love shaped the lives of those around him. His presence was a source of comfort and guidance, and his loss leaves a void that can never be filled.
Oscar was married to Tanya Jacobs and Jennifer Alyson Cross.
He is survived by his loving children:
Raymond Poole Sr.
Tasha Gurley
Termaine Jacobs
Terry Jacobs
Lucus Knowles
Oscar was preceded in death by his parents, Erma Jean Jacobs and Oscar C. Jacobs Sr.; his brothers, Darnell Jacobs and Terry Jacobs; his sister, Donna Murphy; and his daughter, Tonya Jacobs.
