Orlando Ramos, known affectionately as "Lan," passed away on October 14, 2024, just two days shy of his 63rd birthday. Born on October 16, 1961, in Puerto Rico, he spent his later years in Waterbury, Connecticut, where he created a life filled with love and joy.
Orlando was a devoted family man who cherished every moment with his wife, Kathleen, and their three children: Matthew, Stephanie, and Nicolas. His greatest pride stemmed from his accomplishments as a father, as he dedicated himself to nurturing and supporting his children throughout their lives.
A lover of the outdoors, Orlando found peace and happiness at Wilderness Lake Campground, where he enjoyed camping with family and friends. His passion for rock music provided the soundtrack to many cherished memories, while he also had a deep affection for the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Steelers, and UConn Men and Women Basketball teams. He could often be found enjoying anything related to sports on television.
Orlando had a particular fondness for sausage and peppers, a staple at gatherings with family. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his warm spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will cherish the memories of time spent with him forever.
