Ollie Bell, lovingly known as Bell, passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on February 25, 1940, in Calhoun Falls. Ollie had been residing in Chicago, IL, at the time of his passing.
Ollie had a few favorite hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. He loved watching football, indulging in the Id channel, and trying his luck with scratch-off tickets. However, his true happiness stemmed from his children and grandchildren, whom he adored wholeheartedly.
Being at home was Ollie's favorite place in the world. He cherished the comfort and familiarity that his home provided. Ollie was often called Bell by his loved ones, a nickname that reflected their affection and closeness.
Professionally, Ollie worked at sky chef, where h he later retired from after 40 years of service. His retirement was a proud accomplishment, marking a well-deserved chapter of rest and relaxation in his life.
Ollie's life motto, "I ain't mad at cha!", exemplified his positive outlook and ability to let go of grievances. Through his words and actions, he inspired those around him to find forgiveness and move forward in life.
Ollie Bell will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched and also a caring a devoted friend (Carol) His legacy will live on through the memories and love he shared with his loved ones.
