Odessa Jackson Watson, affectionately known as "Cookie," was born on December 28, 1955, in Charleston, South Carolina. She passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, in Goose Creek, South Carolina, where she had made her home in recent years.

Cookie was a devoted mother to her three children: Latesha Watson, Lorraine Watson, and Paul Watson, as well as her stepdaughter, Gladys Ward. She took great pride in her family and cherished her role as a nurturing parent.

She is survived by her beloved siblings: Juluis Doctor (Barbara), William Doctor (Darlene), Ezekiel Doctor, Rose Marie Stevens, Patricia Gross-Ferguson (George), and Lavern Rivers (Rodney). Cookie also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Known for her caring, compassionate, and giving nature, Cookie touched the lives of many throughout her journey. She accepted Christ at an early age, and her faith was a guiding light in her life. Odessa Jackson Watson will be remembered for her warm heart and the love she freely shared with all who knew her.
