Two (2) of her best friends introduced her to Marion Alva Wright from Boyd, Texas. Marion and Evelene were married June 30, 1951 and lived in Crowley and Fort Worth, Texas for a while. Of this marriage, they had four children, Darlene Lanelle Wright, Alva Jean Wright, David Clayton Wright, Connie Louise Wright, and they adopted Mary Lechelle Wright (Heath). In 1973 they moved from Walters, Oklahoma to Bethany, Oklahoma.
Norman loved the Lord and her family. She would read her bible and prayed daily. She was a member of Lakeview Park Church of the Nazarene.
She would baby sit to supplement the family's income and when they moved to Bethany, OK they signed up to be foster care parents and took care of several children. Norman loved working in her flower/vegetable gardens, sewing, and doing crafts. She and her husband worked on several projects together. She made things for the school teachers as well as her friends. She was also a great cook and loved when people came to visit She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, husband, and only son, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her daughters: Darlene Lanelle Wright (Neff) husband Henry, Alva Jean Wright (Davis) husband Stanley, Connie Louise Wright, Mary Lechelle Wright (Heath), granddaughters: Crystal Diane Ausby and Carisma Deshaun Ausby as well as great granddaughter Evelena Marie Ausby and another great granddaughter due in June.
