She was a fun, loving person. She was always willing to help others even if it was her last. She was always willing to lend an ear. She was a loving wife and caring and protective mother. She had a very good heart and she was an empath and was very straight forward. No matter her circumstances, she always remained smiling and never gave up. She was strong and courageous. She could easily fit in with any crowd because of her personality and character. She was a conqueror until the day that God called her home!

The beach: watching the waves roll inn, that was her most peaceful place even on rainy days
Norma Ann September passed away peacefully on 15 June 2025 at Eersteriver Hospital after being admitted for two weeks. God called her home and find it fit to release her from her earthly shackles and all her pain that she endured in silence.
Norma was born on 27 October 1967 in Ravensmead. She was the eldest daughter of her late parents. Her younger brother passed away a few years ago.
Norma met her husband Neville September when she was 15 years old. Neville use to stand on the stoop of the shop at a certain time Everyday because he knew that she would walk pass at that time. Norma's cousin, Henka was friends with his sister and he would always get information about Norma from her. Everyday he would patiently wait for her and watch this beauty with the long hair, just staring at her and never had the courage to approach her until one day when he decided to build up the courage and just said, hi Norma and she asked, who are you and how do you know my name? He told her that he knows her cousin and asked whether he could walk her home. At first she was stubborn but he didn't allow her stubbornness to put him off. He walked with her and so it continued Everyday until he asked her out.
Their courtship continued for 4 years and many guys would be jealous because they asked her out and didnt succeed and they would end up putting nails in his cars tyres, he was too scared that someone else would snatch her from him and proposed and she said yes...
On 25 April 1986, they received their wedding blessing in the New Apostolic church.
Out of their wedlock, 3 daughters and one son was born.
Norma was a fun, loving person and could easily fit in with Neville's family. Neville was the youngest son of 9 siblings.
Norma's passions were cooking and baking and her place of peace was the beach, watching the waves roll in even on rainy days.
Her kids state that they would always remember their Mom for her courage, willpower, good heart, good qualities, funny character and the supportive mother that she was to them. Always making time to listen and always having the best advice.
Neville states that he will always remember her as the loving wife and mother to their children. She would always stand tall with him despite the circumstances and through good and bad days. She would never give up and she was a conqueror until the day God find it fit to call her home.
Those that knew Norma, understood her because she could be very straight forward at times, syt nie nog doekies omgedraai nie.
Norma are leaving behind her husband, 3 daughters, one son and 8 grand children.
