Nicolas Echeverria-Zavala, affectionately known as Nico, was born on January 25, 1930, in La Piedad, Michoacán, Mexico. He passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spent his later years surrounded by family.

Nico was a devoted family man, cherished by his 15 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. Known for his humor and caring nature, he brought joy and kindness to everyone around him. Nico had a passion for dancing, often lighting up the room with his moves, and he relished the simple pleasure of enjoying his favorite food, tacos.

A lifelong soccer enthusiast, Nico found great joy in the sport, often sharing it with his loved ones. He was fondly remembered for his saying “Viejito pero bonito,” which reflected his spirit and zest for life. His legacy of kindness and laughter will continue to inspire all who knew him.
