Nicholas Galvez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on February 18, 1938, in Zacatecas, Mexico, Nicholas spent his later years in La Puente, California.
Nicholas was a devoted husband to Victoriana Galvez, with whom he shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by their six children—three sons and three daughters—and fifteen cherished grandchildren. Nicholas was known affectionately as "Abuelito" to his family, who remember him for his warm spirit and unwavering positivity.
A man of simple pleasures, Nicholas enjoyed riding horses, playing pool, and going on walks. He had a special fondness for Mexican food, particularly tamales and pozole, and was a devoted fan of Ramon Ayala’s music. His favorite place in the world was always his hometown of Zacatecas, where his heart remained.
Nicholas was an avid baseball fan, passionately supporting the Los Angeles Dodgers. He found joy in watching games and sharing those moments with family and friends. He had a remarkable way of bringing people together, often inviting them for a friendly game of pool, and his infectious enthusiasm for life left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Nicholas Galvez's legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness and the joy he brought to every gathering.
