Nelida Rojas, affectionately known as Tata, passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on May 29, 1935, in Cuba, she later made her home in Tampa, Florida, where she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother.

Tata was the proud mother of five children, who carry on her legacy of love and laughter. Her warmth and humor were a source of joy to many, and she was known for her exceptional cooking, often delighting family and friends with her culinary skills. Tata's home was always filled with the sounds of laughter, and her kitchen was the heart of many family gatherings.

In addition to her children, Tata is survived by six great-grandchildren, who will remember her as their loving matriarch. Her spirit will live on in the memories of her family and friends, who will forever cherish her loving nature and vibrant personality.
