Neil Roger Roth, born on July 1, 1949, in Iowa City, IA, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024, in Loveland, CO, where he had most recently resided. He was known to many as Roger, while others fondly referred to him as Neil Roth.
A true artist at heart, Neil found joy in drawing, writing, and creating art. His passion for the theater was evident in his involvement with the Loveland Community Theatre, where he showcased his talents as an actor, director, and producer. Neil's love for creativity extended beyond the stage, as he often expressed his view of life through the lens of art, stating, "I see life as an exploding fireworks display. We’re all following a slightly different path than the ember next to us, and yet it takes each and every ember to create the whole display."
Neil also enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing, and communing with nature. Always wondering what was over that next hill.
Neil was a devoted sports fan, passionately cheering for the Denver Broncos. He is survived by his three daughters, Rebecca Haywood, Kristin Clark, and Amber Sandoval, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Elijah Vint, Maleah Vint, and Corynne Sandoval, and by his ex-wife Eunice Roth.
