Nehemiah Matthew Shoemaker, affectionately known as "Nemo," passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 33. He was born on October 27, 1990, in Riverside, CA, and was residing in Perris, CA, at the time of his passing.

Nemo dedicated his life to saving others as a paramedic, leaving a lasting impact on the community he served. He believed that life was a rollercoaster and encouraged others to ride it with their hands up, embracing the journey fearlessly.

One of Nemo's proudest accomplishments was marrying the love of his life, Jamie, and building a beautiful family together. He was a devoted husband and a loving father to their six children, including one son and five daughters.

Nemo will be deeply missed by his mother, brother, sister, wife, and children, as well as by everyone whose lives he touched. His strong-minded and family-oriented nature made him a pillar of support for those around him. Despite his own mistakes, Nemo recognized his wrong actions, turned his life around, and became a true father figure to his children.

In addition to his work as a paramedic, Nemo was involved in various community organizations and social causes, including founding ARK (Act of Random Kindness) and supporting Mamas House. He also served as a patient advocate and was dedicated to suicide prevention.

Nemo's genuine smile and unwavering dedication to saving lives brought comfort to countless individuals during their darkest moments. He will be remembered as someone who embraced life's challenges and made a positive impact on the world.
