Nathan Matthew Madden, 3, of Springfield, died Thursday, April 23, 2020, in Springfield,IL.
He was born February 5, 2017, in Jacksonville, a son of Juliette Madden and Warren Mayfield.
Nathan was a student at Calvary Day Care in Springfield, IL., and was formerly a student at Building Blocks Preschool in Springfield.
Nathan leaves with us many wonderful memories of his natural athletic abilities, particularly in the sports of soccer and basketball. He loved being called "Peter pan " Natey was a quick learner, sharp both athletically and academically. His teachers, principals, coaches, caregivers, friends and family were all touched by his infectious smile, gentle spirit and passion. We are so thankful Nathan met his older brother and left him such a great example.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Juliette and Warren; his brother, Kingston Warren; his paternal grandparents, Linsey and Lady Ella Madden; his maternal grandmother, Koretta Sics; aunts and uncles, Card Gast and his wife, Sabre, Alecia Madden, Melissa madden, and Erica Sicas; and a host of great-uncles, great-aunts and other relatives.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at First Christian Church. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 6, Bisch & Son Funeral Home.
