Obituary for Nancy Carolina Macías

Nancy Carolina Macías, age 48, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2024.

Nancy was born on August 6, 1976, in Mexico City to Carolina Diaz and Luis Macías. She spent the majority of her life in Las Vegas, where she attended Las Vegas High School and later graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

Nancy is survived by her beloved son, Alejandro Macías; her siblings, Maria Magaña Teresa Saucedo , Pancho Magaña and Sebastián Magaña; her nephew, Edgar Magaña; and her niece, Jessica Ramírez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolina Diaz and Luis Macías.

Nancy dedicated many years of her life to her career as an insurance professional at United Healthcare. Above all, she was passionate about being an amazing mother and cherished every moment spent with her family.

Known for her kindness, bright smile, authenticity, and sense of humor, Nancy touched the lives of many. Her warmth and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on January 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM at La Paloma Funeral Services. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Nancy’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to her surviving son and sister in Nancy’s honor.

Nancy will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
