Nancy Ann Winningham Larkin, known affectionately as Coco, passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on October 6, 1941, in Long Beach, CA, and most recently resided in Scottsdale, AZ.
Nancy had a zest for life and cherished spending time with her grandkids, who brought immense joy to her days. She also enjoyed the thrill of going to the casinos. Nancy's culinary skills were renowned, and she delighted in preparing cabbage soup, homemade roast, and her beloved homemade peach cobbler for holiday gatherings.
Music was another passion of Nancy's, and she delighted in the sounds of Tom Jones, Conway Twitty, George Jones, and Elvis Presley. Her favorite place in the world was at Christmas parties surrounded by her loving family, including her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Nancy found solace and laughter in cherished TV shows such as "I Love Lucy," "The Andy Griffith Show," and "Bewitched." She was an avid baseball fan and found delight in following the sport.
During her 40-year career as a typist, Nancy made many contributions and built a fulfilling professional life. She lived by the motto, "You only live once," embracing every day with enthusiasm and gratitude. One of her proudest accomplishments was purchasing her home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Nancy was happily married to Mark Aloysius Larkin, Jr., and their love story was one of love at first sight. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Brenda, Betty, Christina, Elizabeth, and John, as well as her 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Nancy Ann Winningham Larkin will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, infectious laughter, and dedication to family and friends will forever be remembered and treasured.
