Worked at St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee, WI for ten years and later worked with American Family Life Insurance Company as director of forms management for eleven years
Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University in Wisconsin and later received his Master of Science degree there
Avid bowler and piano teacher
Member of North Highland Missionary Baptist Church
Survived by his wife of 58 years, Gloria Lucas, a son, five daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other family members
Parents and two brothers, John Wesley Lucas and William Lucas, Jr.
