Life member of Al Sihah Temple, 32 degree Mason with membership in the Scottish Rite Bodies of Macon, member of Tyrian Lodge #111 of Warner Robins, member of the Chosin Few, member of the Macon Motor Boat Club, AFBNCO Club, Air Force Sergeant Association, Joseph N. Neel post of the American Legion, VFW, Paris Island Museum, and the Marine Corp. Association
Survived by wife Ethel Lyles Tallent, son Raymond Edward Tallent, Jr., ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, brothers David Tallent, Steve Tallent, sisters Janie Daniels, Dot Lawhorn, and Linda Tallent
Parents Mr. and Mrs. Claude Tallent, brothers Bob, Claude, Jr, Charles M., and Joe Tallent, sister Caroline Davis, stepsons Steve and Jerry Lyles
