Harold Francis Sr., was a native of Lafayette,La. He transitioned at 1:50 a.m on Friday February 14, 2025, at the Carpenters House of Saint Joseph Hospice in Lafayette La. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son: Harold Francis, Jr.(Melody) of Lafayette, La; his daughter: Dana Sampy of Opelousas La; seven grandchildren eight great-grandchildren; one brother: Oscar Francis (Cynthia) of Lafayette La; two sisters: Theresa Thompson of Houston Tx, and Elmary Francis of Lafayette La; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Taft Francis Sr., and Laura Chaisson Francis; his siblings: Albert Francis Sr., Mary Francis Celestine, Darrell Francis, Horace FrancisSr., Helen Francis Green, Taft Francis Jr., and Pearl Francis
