Morgan Moss, a beloved daughter, sister, fiancé, and mother, passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 27. She was born on May 8, 1996, in Hartsville, Tennessee, and most recently resided in Ponce de Leon, Florida.
Morgan was a talented cosmetologist who applied her skills at "Studio Bloom Salon" in Lafayette, Tennessee, before taking a position at "Free Style Salon" in Ponce de Leon, Florida. Her dedication and passion for her work were evident in every client she served.
Morgan's proudest accomplishments include graduating from Trousdale County High School and obtaining her cosmetology degree from Aveda Cosmetology School. She was a determined and hardworking individual, always striving to achieve her goals.
A woman of faith, Morgan embraced the motto, "There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved." She was known for her loving, funny, and compassionate nature, lighting up every room she entered with her infectious smile. Her optimistic outlook on life and her unwavering determination to live to the fullest inspired those around her.
Morgan is survived by her fiancé, Connor Potter, whom she had been in a loving relationship with since 2013. She leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Kalli Moss. She will also be deeply missed by her mother, Jennifer Moss, her father, Kyle Moss, her devoted sister Madison and Marisa Moss, and her loving brother, Maxwell Moss. Morgan's grandparents, Karen and Chris Moss, will cherish the memories they made with her. She was also a beloved niece to Lainie and Brian McCarthy, Shelby and Zach Christian, and Donna and Scott Well. Morgan's cousins, Dylan, Jacob, and Shianne McCarthy, Bree and Liam Christian, as well as Corey, Mariah, and Tracy Well, will forever hold her in their hearts.
Morgan's impact extended beyond her immediate family. She openly shared her journey of overcoming addiction, using her experiences to inspire and support others. She even spoke at Minority Rehabilitation centers, using her story as a catalyst for change. Morgan's kind and generous nature led her to donate to numerous drug rehabilitation organizations, with a particular focus on River Oaks Treatment Center in Riverview, Florida.
Morgan's faith played a vital role in her life. She was a dedicated Non-denominational Christian and was baptized in August of 2002. Her love for God guided her actions and allowed her to touch the lives of those around her.
Morgan Moss will be remembered as a shining light and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and the countless lives she impacted during her time with us. May she rest in eternal peace.
The ceremony and funeral will take place at Clary-Glenn Funeral homes. Her service will be open to close friends and family at 10:00AM and open to the public at 11:00AM. She will be buried at Old Ponce de Leon Cemetery at 2:00PM.
