Minnie Reyes Gella, born on November 30, 1944, in Palapag, Northern Samar, Philippines, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Mesa, Arizona. A beloved widow to Ven I. Gella, Minnie was a dedicated mother to her children, Stephanie Alfonso, Steve Gella, and Sheryl Campbell, and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Chance Crowson, Flora Alfonso, Kalani and Elikai Gella, Ava, Oliver, and Olivia Campbell.
Minnie was a passionate educator with a Bachelor's degree in Education, who fondly taught CCD and left a lasting impact on the lives of her students through her nurturing spirit and faith-filled guidance. Besides her dedication to teaching, she was also an accomplished chef, having owned her own catering company, where she shared her love for cooking with family and friends.
Raised by her grandmother, Minnie developed a love for art and crafts, and she enjoyed traveling whenever she could. A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, she often filled her home with music that resonated with her vibrant personality. Known affectionately as Minnie, she was a loving presence who cherished her family above all else, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Minnie’s legacy is one of love, creativity, and a commitment to teaching and nurturing those around her. Her faith and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
